Assistant Pharmacy Director jobs in Hutchinson, KS
Assistant Pharmacy Director assists department head in daily duties and assumes responsibility in his/her absence. Oversees pharmacists and provides pharmacy services. Being an Assistant Pharmacy Director compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. Typically requires a master's degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. Additionally, Assistant Pharmacy Director requires state Pharmacist License. Typically reports to top management. The Assistant Pharmacy Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Assistant Pharmacy Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Located in Wichita, KS, our closed-door pharmacy serves local nursing homes, group homes and other similar facilities. We have an immediate need for an experienced Full-Time LTC Pharmacy Technician. Hours between 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, and rotating weekends 8am-12pm.
The listed opportunity for a production pharmacy technician includes preparing and filling bubble cards and medications for delivery, stocking shelves, and preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded medications. Candidates must display attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to learn Framework LTC Software. Must be a Kansas Registered Pharmacy Technician, or become registered once hired. Nationally Certified Technician and previous work experience in a Long Term Care pharmacy is preferred. Will train the right person.
