Being an Assistant Pastry Chef follows all applicable guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety. Maintains a clean and orderly workstation and kitchen equipment. Additionally, Assistant Pastry Chef typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Assistant Pastry Chef works under moderate supervision.     Responsibilities
    • Ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality food standards
    • Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen, working with other chefs
    • Prepare a variety of attractive and appetizing baked goods
    • Assist the Back of House management team in various aspects of the kitchen, including ordering, inventorying, equipment needs, etc.
    • Maintain high standards in all areas of safety, security and sanitation, including preventative maintenance, cleaning and repairs of equipment

    Qualifications
    • At least one year of restaurant kitchen experience in a high-volume setting
    • Knowledge of and adherence to health department regulations and food handling and storage rocedures
    • Technical and natural baking abilities
    • Flexible work availability

    Pay: Based on experience
