Your Role With Us:

As a Pastry Assistant you would be assisting our pastry chef with the production of baked goods for Salem Hospital Nutrition Services. You will bake fresh, flavorful, and aesthetically pleasing foods to patient and customers, such as cookies, biscuits, muffins, bars and more.

Background/Expertise:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• AOS in Culinary arts /Hospitality Management preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a large volume, hospital, college, commercial or grocery baking operation.
• Current Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certificate required within 30 days of hire.
