Work Schedule: 220-day contract. While many job responsibilities occur during the day, the Assistant Athletic Director is expected to attend after-hours athletic events.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Athletic Director is responsible for assisting the Athletic Director in the planning, directing, and maintaining of all athletic programs in the district for grades 7-12.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Required
Master's Degree: Preferred
Experience: Prior experience as an athletic coach (preferably as a head coach) and/or assistant athletic director or athletic director is preferred.
Computer Skills: Shall be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency with computers and programs associated with the position.
Certifications &
Licenses: Current Arkansas teaching license that is appropriate for the position. Must meet all state and federal requirements for the position.
Other Requirements: 1. A level of experience that is commensurate with the requirements of the position.
2. Successful completion of pre-employment background checks.
3. Appropriate personal and professional conduct at all times around students, staff, and the general public.
4. Successful completion of Arkansas Activities Association's required trainings and endorsement updates.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves both indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor activities may involve exposure to both hot and cold weather. Noise levels can vary from very low to high depending on the activity involved.
