Asset/Liability Analyst gathers and analyzes data used in the development of programs and/or models that evaluate the organization's asset/liability strategy. Monitors and reports on interest rate risk and liquidity risk. Being an Asset/Liability Analyst assists in the development and deployment of strategies designed to mitigate these risks. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Asset/Liability Analyst typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Asset/Liability Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Analyst may also support projects in other education areas (e.g., National Endowment for the Arts, National Science Foundation).

    Job Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Support research, analysis, and technical assistance for a range of programs
    • Contribute to literature reviews
    • Assist with quantitative and qualitative data collection in the form of surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.
    • Support work with existing large datasets
    • Perform data cleaning, management, and basic analyses
    • Assist the project team with virtual and in-person meetings, including note-taking and facilitating with the technology
    • Assist with the coordination of proposals and other organizational initiatives to foster company growth and success.
    Qualifications:
    • BS or BA in a relevant field (social science, statistics, public policy, etc.)
    • Data collection experience (survey, interview, focus group, etc.) (preferred)
    • Basic data manipulation, and quantitative analysis skills (e.g., descriptive statistics) (required)
    • Experience working in large datasets (preferred)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on projects for federal clients (required)
