The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support and facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
· Greet and prepare patients for treatment
· Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready
· Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
· Taking and processing radiographs and intra-oral pictures
· Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
· Processing lab cases, impressions, and log of out-going and incoming cases
· Perform other related job duties as assigned
Dental Assistant Qualifications
· Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments and hygiene
· Experience administrating dental x-rays
· Technical skills and proficiency with dental software
· Organizational and multi-tasking skills, general office aptitude
· Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
· Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
· Experience in Invisalign and CEREC preferable
