Seolta Holdings, LLC (Proud Builders of MJM Yachts) is seeking a Qualified Final Assembly Line Supervisor.
Employee Duties & Responsibilities
1) Liaise with other managers and supervisors to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Estimate labor costs and organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
2) Monitor production to resolve issues. Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.).
3) Determine the necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.) required to complete final assembly production procedures.
4) Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, and installation of all equipment on the 3-boat product line. Ensure output meets quality standards.
5) Enforce health and safety precautions ensuring health and safety regulations are met. Report any discrepancies to the EHS Manager or Operations Manager.
6) Reports to the Operations Manager with proven skills and experience as line supervisor in a marine environment.
7) Strong knowledge in electrical and mechanical marine diagnoses and repair. Must have a knowledge of marine production management.
8) Experience in reporting on key production metrics, reading blueprints, schematics, and workflow charts. Knowledge of performance evaluations and budgeting concepts. In addition, must be proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP software products.
9) Outstanding communication ability, excellent organizational and leaderships skills is a must with particular attention to detail, and an emphasis on strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
10) Work with department Leads to ensure all resources needed are available. Strive to meet efficiency goals by flow of production line, managing labor hours and communicating goals to work force.
11) Ensure that all new employees receive proper training and their progress tracked for periodic performance reviews. Monitor and maintain all employee time sheets, PTO requests, performance evaluations, written and verbal warnings, etc.
12) Assist in Quality Assurance of our production standards and ensure a safe work environment. Set and maintain a quality standards program for the 3 line which enhances job performance and team building.
