Art Services Supervisor supervises all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout project deliverables. Being a Art Services Supervisor ensures that all policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals are followed. Supports a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors with tools and resources required to complete assignments. Additionally, Art Services Supervisor monitors daily work progress and schedules, resolves issues to meet all production timelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Art Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. JOB SUMMARY:
This is a full time position (70 Hours Bi-Weekly). This position will support and supervise individuals who are employed in a variety of small group work settings, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, line production, and maintenance. This position requires good communication skills, written and verbal, plus flexibility to work effectively and dependably in a variety employment settings. The supervisor reflects professionalism and represents Orange Grove in the community and should maintain positive and productive relationships with the co-workers, employer staff and management and people being supported. The supervisor is expected to transport people supported to and from the work site, so reliable transportation, proof of vehicle insurance and a drivers license "F" Endorsement are required upon hire.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior supervisor/ management experience preferred. Experience and/ or education with working with the intellectual disabled population is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge in a diverse work setting that may include but not limited to maintenance, custodial, food service etc. and flexibility in work hours. Must meet all requirements for employment at Orange Grove Center.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Health must be adequate, both mentally and physically to allow for efficient accomplishment of assigned duties and responsibilities. Physical examination, including TB skin test or chest x-ray, drug screen is required. This position requires stooping, sitting, standing, lifting at least 50 pounds, pulling, and a moderate amount of walking. Please refer to the Work Capacity Addendum attached.
Supervisory Requirements:
Responsible directly to Small Group Employment Manager, and indirectly to the Asst. Coordinator and Coordinator of Employment Services. Will be responsible for supporting and supervising up to three (3) individuals in an integrated, small group work setting.
