Art Services Supervisor supervises all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout project deliverables. Being a Art Services Supervisor ensures that all policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals are followed. Supports a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors with tools and resources required to complete assignments. Additionally, Art Services Supervisor monitors daily work progress and schedules, resolves issues to meet all production timelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Art Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Art Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement art lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels
- Seeking candidates with various art techniques and mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, photography, social media,
- Foster creativity and self-expression in students through art projects and activities
- Provide guidance and feedback to students to help them improve their artistic skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects and events
- Organize and display student artwork for exhibitions or showcases
Requirements: Willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude & willingness to learn.
- Experience working with children, & adults
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with learning differences
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues
- Passion for art and a desire to inspire creativity in others
Schedule: Various classes, ages of students, days of the week available.
Baby & Toddler classes: morning
After School Art. Monday-Friday, 1:30-6:00
Tween & Teen Classes: afternoons
Adult Classes: evenings
Skills & Requirements:
-Driver’s License.
-Feel comfortable driving a car. Feel comfortable driving a 15-passenger van.
-Must be able to pass a BCI-Background Criminal Investigation, fingerprints & CPR
Ability to arrive to work on time, communicate with team.
-Ability to create positive and a fun teaching experience
-Drive van to transport children on field trips. Safe driver.
-Creative Vision, create fun art classes.
-Willig to keep studio clean.
-Team leader and team supporter, works well in a team environment.
