Position Summary:

The Music/Art Therapist plans, organizes, coordinates and leads recreation therapy activities as well as contributes to treatment team meetings on all units. The Music/Art Therapist will ensure the program is appropriate to the needs and interest and capacities of patients and is directed toward restoring and maintaining optimal levels of physical and psychosocial functioning. Responsibilities also include assessing each patient within seventy-two (72) hours of admission and completing daily progress notes on patient's participation toward recreation goals.
