As the Executive Assistant/Gift Shop Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the visitor experience and supporting the overall mission of the Salina Art Center. Your core responsibilities will include:
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates who embody professionalism in every aspect of customer service, possess exceptional time management and organizational skills, and excel in verbal and written communication. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are crucial, as is a genuine passion for arts and cultural programming. While prior experience in customer service, sales, and event planning is preferred, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite applications is essential, and experience with point-of-sale systems is desirable but not required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working during public hours, including one weekend per month and occasional evenings for special events or board meetings. The typical work schedule would be Wednesday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend hours on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Weekly hours may range from 21 to 32 hours, depending on after-hours events.
