Art Manager manages the creative design and execution of visual communications to meet an organization's marketing or advertising objectives. Provides internal clients with design standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding, and identity. Being an Art Manager oversees the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. Monitors projects and timelines. Additionally, Art Manager stays current on latest trends. Develops and manages a network of vendors, freelance artists, and designers to utilize for project support. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Art Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Art Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Role Summary:

    We are seeking a Creative, Kind, Upbeat, and RESPONSIBLE Art Teacher to join our team. This unique individual will have the privilege of teaching art to elementary-aged children in a supportive and joyful environment. The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, can work independently, and is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives through art.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver engaging art lessons to elementary-aged children in an after-school setting.
    • Foster a nurturing and creative environment where children feel safe to express themselves.
    • Manage classroom materials and setup, ensuring all supplies are ready for each class. (Note: All materials and instruction guidelines are provided.)
    • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
    • Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the overall learning experience.

    Qualifications:

    • A contagious enthusiasm for art and education.
    • Strong organizational skills and a responsible nature, with the ability to work independently.
    • Prior experience in art or teaching is preferred, but not required.
    • A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
    • Excellent communication skills, with a special knack for connecting with children.
    • Abilities in video, website, & graphic design are highly desirable, offering additional opportunities within our company.
