Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Art Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. A bit about the role…
We are looking for a Director, Exhibition Design (USA) to join our growing design practice as part of our Creative Services team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead the spatial design of major development projects within cultural institutions and visitor attractions. You'll be responsible for leading and mentoring the Exhibition Design discipline team with a combination of bold thinking and pragmatic decision making. In addition to directing our design work in this space, you'll also be responsible for performing creative direction to help secure important new work and deliver high quality outcomes for our cultural and tourism sector clients.
This role will suit a person who is passionate about creating meaningful, multisensory cultural experiences that seamlessly weave together people, place, content and state-of-the-art technology. You will promote a culture of ambition and creative courage, working to develop a thoughtful environment where designers and clients find the courage to do groundbreaking work.
This role is able to be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, although New York based candidates will be able to work from our co-working space in a hybrid capacity.
