Art Director directs and develops the creative design and execution of visual communications to meet an organization's marketing or advertising objectives. Provides internal clients with design standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding, and identity. Being an Art Director leads the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. Stays current on latest trends. Additionally, Art Director develops a network of vendors, freelance artists, and designers to utilize for project support. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Art Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Art Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     • Single subject: Art authorization required; Including English learner authorization required
    • Clear the Department of Justice background screening
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Provide health (TB) clearance (must be renewed every four years) Responsibilities The Art Teacher provides a high-quality, personalized education program in general students' art and must be able to create a learning environment and plan an instructional program to fulfill the educational objectives of the grade level/classes assigned.
    • Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive classroom environment.
    • Develops with supervisor objectives for his/her work.
    • Plans learning activities appropriate to the subject(s), grade level(s), abilities, attitudes, and cultural background of individual students.
    • Evaluate the work of students.
    • .Communicate with parents and school counselors to discuss the individual student’s progress.
    • Advises and counsels students and cooperates with other staff members in assessing and helping students solve academic, health, attitude, and learning problems.
    • Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned working day.
    • Participates in adjunct activities according to the collective bargaining agreement.
    • Maintains professional competence through professional growth activities.
    • Responsible for teaching the prescribed course of study and the district’s established objective system
