Job Summary

Rainbow Art Studio seeks a personable, organized, and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and logistical support to our team of teachers and staff. This experienced Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Art Director and create a welcoming first impression for all customers, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Basic office duties: answering phone calls, email correspondence, and in-person communication with students and parents
• Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings and studio events
• Light bookkeeping
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work independently
• Prepare the classroom prior to instruction and clean up after the end of class
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage projects with competing priorities.
• Ability to work as a collaborative team member.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior administrative experience a plus.
• Bachelor Degree preferred (Art/business majors).
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word,Excel,Powerpoint) Mac (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), OpenOffice, and Quickbooks. Familiarity with Zoom and basic knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Previous experience teaching and/or working with students.
• Bookkeeping experience.
