Monitors work through all stages of pre-production and production and facilitates solutions to any issues that may arise. Being an Art Director Assistant reviews the work of videographers, photographers, designers, and graphic artists. Requires knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communication. Additionally, Art Director Assistant requires a bachelor's degree of art or design. Typically reports to Art Director. About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Art Director to join our Brand team. The Art Director will play a pivotal role in continually innovating and elevating the brand's expression through various marketing mediums, with a keen focus on enhancing the customer experience. They will be involved in the entire process of defining requirements, concept development, visualization, and creating artwork including interactive, illustration, brand development, layout, photography, motion graphics, and video. The ideal candidate must also be able to shape the visual aspects of websites, videos, social media content, print, product packaging, exhibitions, and more.
What you’ll do:
Design and develop innovative visuals for all digital and physical channels.
Utilize a strong eye for design and color to create content that resonates with customers
Collaborate with various teams to ensure that all visuals meet brand standards and customer expectations
Analyze performance data and how it relates to branding and design
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the omnichannel retail landscape
Monitor competitor visuals and develop strategies to differentiate Rhone from other retailers
Strategically push the branding and positioning across all consumer digital touchpoints
Partner closely with design, merchandising, and digital leaders throughout the business to develop effective creative that meets cross-functional needs without sacrificing brand standards and innovation
Partner with the Creative Director and Product team on new initiatives and projects
Ensuring all assets are aligned with brand guidelines and best practices.
Quality control of all creative design assets that are produced by the team
What you’ll bring:
6 years of Design and Art direction experience,
A strong eye for design and color, a proven track record of delivering sophisticated and innovative visuals, and a deep understanding of the current omnichannel retail landscape.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating your digital work
Extensive knowledge of channel best practices
Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to lead a team, produce constructive criticism, brainstorm, and participate whenever needed.
Experience in visual design and conceptual thinking - being able to bring your ideas to life from vision to launch
Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
Technical skills: Advanced Photoshop, Advanced InDesign, Advanced Illustrator. Video editing software is a plus
