About the Role

Job requires ability to review and translate Sales Orders, Customer drawings and Construction documents to create building drawings. Drafting will be working closely with structural Engineers and senior drafting personnel. Drafting is responsible to produce neat anchor bolt/permit drawings according to engineering design/specifications for customer orders, prepare shipping list & shop drawings for manufacturing, review & verify all parts are correct for manufacturing, be able to follow manufacturing schedule & meet deadlines for projects according to the manufacturing schedule.

Qualifications

About You

Basic Qualifications

Basic math and working knowledge of trigonometry & geometry

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma

Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods

2 year’s drafting experience

Working knowledge in CAD software

Preferred Qualifications

Experience drafting in architectural buildings, mechanical drafting, and/or metal buildings

Associate degree in estimating/drafting

Experience in steel construction and/or non-residential construction

Ability to read & understand architectural/engineering drawings

Working knowledge in Microsoft software

Working knowledge in CAD software

Working knowledge of MBS software
