We are a growing design firm that provides Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electric, and Plumbing design, inspections, and construction management. Our team is passionate about delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients, we are seeking a skilled designer/drafter to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

As a Designer/Drafter, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle, utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate and detailed drawings. Our ideal candidate has at least three years’ experience, with the ability to use AutoCAD and Revit, and a solid understanding of drafting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop design drawings and documentation.

- Create detailed structural, MEP, or architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

- Conduct on-site inspections to gather necessary information for project development and verification.

- Ensure compliance with drafting standards, codes, and regulations.

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address project requirements and modifications.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a designer/drafter in structural, MEP, or architectural fields.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

- Understanding of drafting principles and construction methods.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Efficiency in reading construction documents and able to do inspections off of plans and project specifications.

- Able to write professionally as needed for reports, client communications, design scopes, etc.

- Engineering or architecture license is a plus, but not required.

- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
