Collaborative Design Studio is a multi-faceted architectural firm that provides architectural design, planning and interior design services while integrating sustainability and energy efficiency into each of our projects. In business for 48 years and headquartered in Reno, Nevada, Collaborative Design Studio focuses on regional projects in Northern Nevada and California, especially Lake Tahoe, but has completed projects throughout the U.S.

Our portfolio includes work in the Hospitality, Commercial, Education, and the High-End Multi-Family Residential sectors. While the majority of this work is based in Northern Nevada including in the Lake Tahoe basin, we also have completed projects in numerous National Parks and throughout the West. We provide a vast scope of value-added services to our clients including:

• Architectural Design;
• Interior Design;
• Facility Assessments and Feasibility Studies;
• Programming and Master Planning.

We are seeking energetic, self-motivated and creative people to fill permanent, full-time positions in our open, team-based environment. We are accepting applications from both entry-level architects (recent B.Arch/M.Arch graduates with little to no experience) as well as from those with 3-5 years’ experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture desired; master’s in architecture preferred.
• AutoCAD/Revit , Microsoft Office, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and SketchUp experience required.
• Practical experience in development of multiple building types; 3-5 years’ experience in the design and coordination of complex residential and commercial/hospitality projects preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage work on multiple projects simultaneously.
