Works from the designs of others to prepare sketches, preliminary drawings, and schematic designs. Being an Architect prepares project estimates and completes architectural plans/renderings following specific instructions. Prepares reports and specifications as requested. Additionally, Architect may participate in an architectural internship or professional development program. May be working towards obtaining architecture license. Requires a bachelor's degree in architecture. Typically reports to a manager. The Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     As an Architect at EAPC, you will:

    • Perform architectural assignments with instruction from a Senior Architect, Principal, or Project Manager
    • Modify or create documents and drawings and apply standard architectural techniques and procedures
    • Apply standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of lager projects
    • Perform architectural assignments including higher-level work for training/development purposes
    • Research, compile and record information for assigned project work
    • Assist in products and systems research
    • Produce graphic materials and images for client presentations
    • Foster a commitment to external and internal client service

    To join us, you should have:

    • Degree in Architecture; B. Arch or M. Arch
    • Licensure preferred; will consider all levels of experience; title and duties dependent on licensure status and experience
    • Experience with software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup preferred
    • Organizational skill and ability to prioritize multiple projects
    • Ability to effectively work and collaborate on multidisciplinary team
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen to the needs of team members and clients and turn into action
    • Ability to operate basic office equipment, computer, plotters, phones
    • Ability to travel to off-site projects and offices
    • Must Possess Valid Driver’s license
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

    This position will report directly to the Architectural Project Manager/Office Manager and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and BIM Modelers. Title and responsibilities will be tailored to your experience level.
