Architect is responsible for performing design computations, compiling data, and completing rudimentary architectural assignments. Works from the designs of others to prepare sketches, preliminary drawings, and schematic designs. Being an Architect prepares project estimates and completes architectural plans/renderings following specific instructions. Prepares reports and specifications as requested. Additionally, Architect may participate in an architectural internship or professional development program. May be working towards obtaining architecture license. Requires a bachelor's degree in architecture. Typically reports to a manager. The Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced software and for multi-vehicle autonomy for complex, contested environments, in a DoD-standard architecture.
- Lead a team to design, implement, test, and deploy autonomy software systems for embedded uncrewed multi-vehicle autonomy, used across a portfolio of programs and customers.
- Present technical results to internal and external customers.
- Assist with business development and customer relationships.
- Support other company initiatives and programs.
- This position can sit in Northern Virginia / DC; or Boston / Burlington, MA Area; or remote with periodic travel (upon approval).
