Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) conducts residential real estate appraisals to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting on-site property inspections, data collection, and research relevant market conditions required to perform valuations. Being an Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Additionally, Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in buying, selling, and renting residential properties
- Guide clients through the entire real estate process, from initial consultation to closing
- Conduct market research to determine property values and competitive prices
- Respond to and nurture leads
- Show properties to potential buyers or renters
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Host open houses when needed
- Assist the team and team leader when needed
Requirements:
- A positive mindset
- MUST HAVE New York Real Estate LIcense
- At least two years of real estate sales experience in NYC
- Must be available to show luxury listings and host open houses on Sundays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and follow up skills
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets
- Participate on coaching calls 2-3 times per month
- Must be coachable and focused
