Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) conducts commercial real estate appraisals and property ratings to establish the market value generally used for investment guidance, lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting and documenting on-site property inspections. Being an Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) performs data collection and research on building permits, prior assessments, and relevant market and economic conditions that impact property value. Reviews building plans and specifications and investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Additionally, Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. REAL ESTATE Appraiser Trainee - Salaried positions.
We are American Home Valuation with offices in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Our company is a growing company in need of Appraiser Trainees who desire to launch a career in Real Estate Appraisal. The right candidates will be trained in Bentonville, Arkansas for 1-1.5 years until the date of certification.
All trainees will be required to start an appraisal office for our company once they earn Certified Residential Appraiser status. We prepare all of our appraisers to start an office with a step-by-step process for success. The Certified Appraiser will also be required to train new appraiser trainees after being certified for 3 years.
There is a 1-1.5-year certification training program. $30,000-35,000 salary with significant pay increase after certification. Typically our certified appraisers can double their trainee salary by the second year of certification.
We are currently looking for two trainees who meet the following requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
1. BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ANY FIELD IS REQUIRED (No exceptions).
2. Must be willing to relocate to a major city outside of Northwest Arkansas and Albuquerque, New Mexico after training is complete, approximately 1.5 years after hire date. (No exceptions) We specifically would like to start a new office in tax-friendly cities across the U.S.
3. Must be willing and able to start a company-owned appraisal company upon receiving certification. This will include training and managing additional appraiser trainees and other support staff members as required. The company will train you on how to start the company appraisal office and show you how to train others.
4. No criminal record.
5. Touch-type minimum of 35 WPM required. (You must be able to type without looking at the keys. You will be tested prior to hire.)
