Job Description:

Qualifications:

• 2 years of CNC programming experience
• 5 years of CNC machining experience
• 1 years of CAM/CAD experience Fusion 360 preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
• Experience with alloys commonly used in firearm applications preferred (aluminum, alloy steel, stainless steels)
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• You will help oversee projects and ensure excellent quality control
• Development of machining strategy to take design data and produce machined hardware
• Develop machine programs for Multi Axis Mills and Lathes in Fusion 360 or hand punched G-Code
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists/operators, supervisors & quality inspectors to support program schedule & performance goals, mitigate manufacturing risks, and improve operational efficiency
• Develop manufacturing plans for high-volume production
• Design custom tools and fixtures as needed
• Develop set-up processes to show alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece
• Identify and select appropriate tooling for job specific applications (based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capability)
• Releasing programs to the production team that have been validated in Complete
• Own process improvement opportunities (reduced machining/setup time, improved part quality)
• Maintain configuration control of files and job records
• Safely working within a manufacturing environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour
