Applications Support Technician provides technical support to the team responsible for a subset of business systems applications. Provides assistance in one or all areas of applications programming that includes testing, design and analysis. Being an Applications Support Technician assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications. Typically requires an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Applications Support Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Applications Support Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Daily Responsibilities for Entry-Level Healthcare Technician:- Within the first 120 days of employment, you'll participate in an esteemed training program, including hands-on experience in a hospital setting and a specialized curriculum aimed at developing the skills required for certification
- Post-certification duties include maintaining sterility, assisting in pre-operative tasks, intra-operative support, and aiding in post-operative cleanup, managing laparoscopic equipment maintenance, and fostering communication with colleagues and hospital staff
- Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotational scheduled and on-call shifts
- High school diploma/GED required
- Strong customer service skills with 1-3 years of face-to-face customer service experience
- Certification as a Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) within 90 or 120 days of employment
