Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Applications Intern to assist in supporting our daily IT operations. Under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Software, the Clinical Applications Support Intern will perform daily records review and updates within the RIS system (Radiology Information System). Must operate with attention to detail, possess a willingness to learn, and efficiently prioritize and complete tasks. Healthcare systems experience desired but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review patient information in the clinical software system and ensure it is up to date and accurate.
• Perform daily report and image transfer between systems to ensure end users have all prior information for upcoming appointments.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of radiology department workflow and RIS/PACS or EHR systems a plus
