Ophthalmic Technician

HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to fill an opening with a prestigious eye care practice in Sarasota, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for Ophthalmic Technician:

• Responsible for assisting as a right hand in the clinic setting, including but not limited to injections and minor procedures, chart documentation and prep for surgery
• Gathering medical records and patient information
• Assisting ophthalmologists with basic procedures and maintenance of ophthalmic instruments

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong customer service skills
• Must have 6 months – 1 year of experience

• **Also accepting candidates with a medical assistant and medical front office admin background!
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to patient requests in a positive manner
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Pay Details: $20.00 - $23.00 an hour (negotiable depending on years of experience)
