An IT Support Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive, multi-tiered IT computing support for faculty and staff workstations, college classrooms, computer labs, and conference rooms. Emphasis is on full-service user support including special projects and IT data and system security. This position facilitates a secure, efficient, reliable computing work environment for faculty and staff throughout the hardware lifecycle. This position oversees the Campus Workstation Program for the College, as well as providing individual consulting for faculty with special endpoint requirements to quote and procure solutions that are compatible with ND computing standards and infrastructure. All work is done in accordance with accepted best practices and established guidelines. Expertise centers around computers running current Microsoft and/or Apple operating systems. A strong understanding of system hardware is also required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
1 to 2 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
CompTIA A Certification
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
