Working in Application Support means you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques
• Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming (Java, Python, .Net, C , etc.)
• Understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• AWS Cloud experience with knowledge of mainframe
• Basic knowledge of application development full life cycle
• Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficient in the development of automated tools, systems, and services in multiple technology domains.
• In-depth understanding of SQL
• Basic knowledge of application development full life cycle
• Working knowledge on monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk and Grafana
• Working knowledge on deployments and resiliency testing using various tools such as JET Spinnaker, GIT, Jules, Unix and Windows
• Experience in design, testing and coding in Python, Java, and Go
