This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation, roll-out, maintenance, and validation of the financial decision-support solutions for all of Johns Hopkins Medicine. The qualified candidate will perform the routine monthly maintenance processes for the data structures within the solutions; assist with the documentation of procedures, data structures, and databases used in decision support; assist with meaningful analyses utilizing this data; and support the education and training of all decision support end users. The qualified candidate will also be required to develop new solutions; have an ability to independently perform analytical and system maintenance tasks; lead projects; independently learn new solutions, functionality, and technology; and have a thorough understanding of decision support-based functionality.

Ability to support the implementation and roll-out of financial decision-support solutions. Understanding of financial budgeting, cost accounting, and patient financial & clinical concepts. Familiarity with the use of databases, systems, and PC-based software applications needed to manipulate and analyze data. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.

Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, or Information Systems.

Five years of healthcare or systems experience; three years or more of working within Johns Hopkins Medicine preferred.
