Plans, conducts, and coordinates business programming applications activities in areas such as finance, human resources, and marketing. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Conducts and prepares feasibility studies for new data processing applications or revisions to existing systems. Prepares system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules. Prepares and presents project proposals to management and user departments. Establishes programming standards and program documentation requirements. Reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for systems improvements. Monitors design processes and prepares reports on systems projects.
Education: College diploma or University degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
Experience: 5 years desired in software development, 1 year Supervisory role.
