Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Fitness Programming to join our team. As the Director of Programming, you will be responsible for overseeing all fitness programs and services offered at our two personal training studios. Your role will involve designing and implementing fitness programs, managing a team of 8-10 personal trainers at our two studios, and ensuring the overall success of our fitness department.
Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fitness programs for individuals and groups consistent with the brand promises of BCS Fitness.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness
- Conduct fitness assessments to determine clients' current fitness levels and goals
- Create personalized workout plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Lead group fitness classes and provide instruction on proper form and technique
- Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support and motivation
- Manage a team of fitness instructors, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and research to continuously improve our fitness programs
- Create micro and macro vision and planning for all personal training small groups
-28 hours a week of coaching on the floor working with groups of 4-5 clients per session.
-10-12 hours per week of administrative/programming work and working with clients in 1 on 1 setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Certification in personal training (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM)
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology and anatomy
- Proven experience in program design and implementation
- Excellent understanding of body mechanics and injury prevention techniques
- Previous experience in group fitness or sports coaching
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Minimum 3 years of experience in small group personal training.
