Job Description:
**Position Summary:**
As the Senior Manager of the Wireless Applications Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of embedded wireless development. You will lead a team of talented engineers and developers in creating sophisticated applications that push the boundaries for ease of developing embedded wireless solutions. Your strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills will be instrumental in delivering products that meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and user satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Wireless Applications Team, aligning with company goals and market trends.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of wireless application development, from concept to deployment, including budgeting and timeline management.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer support.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in wireless technology and applications, identifying opportunities for new product development and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and security protocols.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and architecture of wireless applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive the resolution of complex technical issues and challenges that may arise during the development process.
- Engage with key stakeholders and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in wireless technology development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in programming languages such as C/C , or Python.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Deep understanding of wireless communication protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Matter, Thread, and other emerging wireless (or security) technologies is highly desirable.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
