Enhances operations by establishing metrics, analyzing processes, and implementing standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Manager reviews development proposals, projects, timelines, resources, and costs. Leads feedback processes for peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Manager establishes a performance culture by incorporating individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May manage outsourcing budgets, vendors, or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Applications Programming Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Description:
Startup and commissioning of building automation and controls system.
Startup, test and make modifications in the Niagara Tridium Platform.
Hardware installation, software programming, diagnosis and repair of DDC systems at customer locations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a controls technician.
Tridium Niagara certification preferred but not required.
Ability to interpret controls drawings, plans and sequence of operations.
Ability to interface and communicate to customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Factory training provided.
