Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Programming & Content Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program and content strategy for our hotels. They will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the hotels management team to be instrumental in driving the dynamic energy of both Riggs and Lyle. Responsible for planning and executing events and activities that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue, as well as managing the hotels digital content across various platforms. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP The role will report directly to the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. The position will interact and work closely with the General Managers and teams at both Riggs and Lyle and will be based from both properties, with one day from home as business allows. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement a comprehensive program of events and brand partnerships for both hotels that align with the overall business objectives and allow each hotel to reach new audiences. Plan and execute a wide range of events and activities, spanning panel talks, workshops and a series of wider brand partnerships across the pillars of fashion, film, music, art, design and culture, providing opportunities for data capture and database building. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales tools that support the program and content strategy. Manage the hotel's digital content across various platforms, including the hotel's website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor and analyze guest feedback, ROI and engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement and development. Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance the program and content offering for each hotel. Manage the program and content budget, ensuring that expenses are in line with revenue targets and that ROI is achieved. Work closely with the operations teams to ensure that the program and content offerings at each property are delivered to a high standard and that new events and partnerships are rolled out effectively and communicated properly. Build brand awareness and identify new business opportunities. People: Ensures a positive atmosphere and fosters an open and honest flow of information. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, revenue management, and operations to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives. Is able to defuse stressful situations and implement conflict avoidance measures. Carries out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the line manager. PROFESSIONAL/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS It is imperative that the individual upholds the philosophy, culture, and values of Lore Group living and breathing the core values of family, discovery, detail, and spirit. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program and content management in the hospitality industry or other relevant industries, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue and enhancing the guest experience.
