Additionally, Applications Programmer produces application documentation, including process and data flow diagrams. Provides support for implementing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining applications. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Applications Programmer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     This position is based in our Great Falls, Montana office.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • DDC programming.
    • Integration with other control systems and mechanical equipment including boilers, chillers and packaged rooftop units, etc.
    • Startup and commissioning of new installations.
    • Optimization, troubleshooting, and repair of existing systems.
    • The programmer will work with the engineering and installation teams to deliver a high-quality product in a timely manner.
    • Produce system graphics when required.

    Qualifications

    • Basic computer and mathematical skills are required. Bonus points will be awarded for a basic understanding of IP networks.
    • Previous experience and a fundamental understanding of commercial building mechanical (HVAC) systems or a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
    • Experience with DDC controls programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning is preferred but may not be required for the right candidate. Experience with systems integration via BACnet, Modbus, etc., is really going to get our attention.
