East Coast Metrology is seeking recently graduated or imminently graduating engineers to inspect, measure, and reverse engineer products for a wide variety of industries, including nuclear, medical, aerospace, and automotive. ECM uses the latest technology, such as Laser Trackers and Portable CMM Arms, and software to obtain, analyze, and report dimensional data.
New hires will be given on the job training with our techniques, equipment, and software. Eventually they will be assigned to independent projects, representing the company, measuring subject objects, analyzing and reporting the results. The jobs each engineer will work on are hand-picked to fit the individual’s interests and strengths. The position requires 30-70% travel and is onsite. Travel is domestic and international.
Likely candidates will have or be completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. We are looking for individuals with good mechanical skills and aptitude, and who will be comfortable and effective communicating both in the engineering office and on the shop floor. Familiarity with BIM, AutoDesk Suite, Revit, Large Volume Scanners, 3D CAD, GD&T, MS Office, would be very helpful.
