    JOB DESCRIPTION * ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced FIELD DESPUTE RESOLUTION SPECIALIST for Venture Global's Plaquemines LNG Project in Port Sulphur, LA. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Encourages the use of DRP at the jobsite. Responds to calls assigned by the Dispute Resolution Team/DRP Field Advisor II and investigates employee concerns that arise at the jobsite. Works closely with the Dispute Resolution Team, to provide confidential and neutral assistance to employees regarding employee concerns by facilitating amicable solutions. Provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws Educates employees on policies, procedures, and practices, providing confidential consultations and coordinates with the Dispute Resolution Team in offering options for conflict resolution such as a Resolution Conference or Internal Review Panel (Step 3). Advocates fairness and investigates internal employee complaints such as Unfair Treatment, Harassment and Discrimination. Enters investigation notes and findings on employee issues into the Dispute Resolution database. Prepares documents, reports, and correspondence and identifies patterns and problem areas and makes recommendations to the Dispute Resolution Field Coordinator Lead on areas for improvement. Periodically reports on case activity. Advises on and explains relevant state and federal rules, regulations, and procedures to management team. Provides coaching and guidance to Managers and Supervisors regarding employee issues, to include Hiring and Terminations. Provide training and guidance to jobsite on culture, policies, and procedures, particularly those related to employment law (such as EEO, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, etc.). Assists with the coordination of ADA Reasonable Accommodation, discipline, discharges and assists with problematic situations. Provides employee documentation and other related evidence as requested for Charges and litigation. Under the direction of the Dispute Resolution Team, assists with the investigation of Charges by EEOC, Human Rights Commission, etc. Performs various Projects and other duties as assigned. Specific Jobsite Duties: Attend weekly Foreman Meetings and train on how to write reprimands, complete Employee Separation Reports (ESR), and answer questions about employee issues. Attend new hire orientation to introduce Dispute Resolution. Attend monthly safety meetings. Conduct exit interviews. Review ESR’s making sure separations are appropriate (i.e. employees being ROF’d while they are on a protected leave). Translate for supervision.

    Qualifications
    High degree of Ethical Practice.
    Bilingual strongly preferred but not required.
    Ability to effectively build relationships and work with all levels of Zachry Leadership.
    Ability to analyze and work through critical situations.
    Prefer some knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws.
    Strong communication and written skills.
    Understanding of Zachry Culture, Policies and Procedures, preferred but not required.
    Ability to work a flexible schedule per project needs. (days/nights/weekends)
    Prefer 2 years Zachry experience, but not required.

    Physical Requirements
    • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of sitting and working on a computer.
    • Will talk and hear to communicate.
    • May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 35lbs.
    • Position will be required to spend time on the construction site and will need to have the ability to walk and climb in various outdoor conditions.
    • Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots.
