Our services are also retained for data collection efforts in the form of surveys, video content analysis, and on-site observational studies.

Working at Resolution Economics is a rewarding experience where teamwork, creativity, and academic rigor combined to generate real-world results. We regularly apply data analytical, statistical, and economic methods to create compelling narratives that are accessible to non-technical audiences. Our work often plays and important role in influencing State and Federal case law and directly impacts the outcomes of future litigation and the contours of work place policy. In addition, the analyses that we perform inform settlement discussions and arbitration proceedings, as parties attempt to resolve issues out of Court. Given the high-stakes and the large number of individuals potentially impacted by these cases, our clients rely on our adaptability, efficiency, and ability to maintain a high degree of reliability in our work.

    Job Description:

The Manager role is a highly demanding yet highly fulfilling position. Those operating as Managers are expected to have a thorough understanding of the relevant case law as it applies to their projects. Managers generally oversee multiple projects simultaneously and will be required to assess the staffing needs for these projects and effectively allocate their own time among them. Managers are responsible for personally conducting and/or overseeing the majority of the programming work required on their projects and for ensuring that all work is error-free, replicable, and sufficiently documented. Managers are further responsible for ensuring that: a) work moves forward in an efficient manner, b) data issues and/or methodological concerns are resolved or brought to the attention of project Directors or Partners, c) results and findings are presented in a way that is 'client-ready' (e.g. visually pleasing and free of typographical errors), and d) work is completed on or ahead of schedule or that delays are effectively anticipated and communicated. Though not all cases will require direct contact with clients, Managers are expected to be able to accurately interpret client requests and to communicate with clients both orally and via e-mail in a professional manner. Resolution Economics Managers also serve as mentors to junior staff, providing guidance with tasks such as programming, organization, and the strategic approach to case work.
