    Position is located at 5201 Village Parkway in Rogers, Arkansas.

    Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.


    Summary:

    SUMMARY: Under the general direction and guidance of the AWM Insurance & Annuity Client Manager, the AWM Insurance & Annuity Client Specialist is responsible for daily operational processing of new applications for insurance and annuity purchases or service requests to existing contracts, as well as ensuring accuracy and completeness to minimize risk to AWM. The incumbent must be customer service focused, respond to email and incoming calls from internal and external customers in a timely manner, and the ability to adequately research questions related to insurance and annuity products.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • On a daily basis, review applications/supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process all applications in accordance with AWM procedures and accountable for end to end resolution/completion.
    • Perform research and resolve problems with insurance and annuity policies in a timely and efficient manner. Requires follow up with internal and external customers regarding questions, new policy requests, and/or changes to existing policies. Work on policies, manage all changes, and monitor to completion to ensure policies are correct and provided to customers or Client Advisor. Create sufficient file documentation to track and minimize risk to AWM.
    • Reconcile life insurance direct deposits and deposits checks both weekly and monthly. Create and provide a monthly commissions report for Client Advisors and LBAs.
    • Prepare fixed and variable annuity policies and compile rate sheet information. Prepare Monthly Market Share Report outlining sales for the month and distribute to management.
    • Prepare and submit agent of record changes and appointments; ensure agent of record information is correct within AWM systems.
    • Review insurance and annuity policies upon receiving from the carrier for accuracy. Create notes in the software system and annotated for follow up to ensure delivery is made to the customer or Client Advisor within AWM guidelines.
    • Respond to all incoming communications to the AWM Insurance & Annuity group from internal and external customers. Work with other team members and/or management to ensure all requests are answered accurately, timely and in a professional manner.
    • Create detailed notes for follow up on insurance and annuity accounts. Review and update notes and continue to follow up until the process is fully completed.
    • Work closely with compliance to ensure all trades are purchased within the AWM written policies and procedure guidelines.
    • Ensure documentation related to insurance and annuities is in the hands of the Client Advisors or customers in a timely manner.
    • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Associate Degree or equivalent insurance and annuity related experience required.
    • 2 years customer service experience required.
    • Life & Health Insurance license required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
    • Strong communication skills required.
    • Previous insurance and annuity processing experience preferred.
    • Previous administrative experience preferred.
