What you can expect as a Customer Retention Specialist:
Assist the Customer Retention Consultant in communicating with orphan policy owners in a retention capacity. Provide assistance while utilizing SLS concepts/tools that support the Corporate Shared Values and Divisional Vision Statement. Responsibilities include providing administrative support through written and phone communication, generation of product proposals, and preparation of required paperwork. Primary focus is on providing high quality customer service that retains the policy owner..
What we are looking for:
- Proven excellence in Customer Service
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills including: participatory listening skills needed to assist policy owners with requests and issues of dissatisfaction, effective relational skills, strong initiative, and high energy
- Ability to develop a rapport with policy owners over the phone to develop trust and provide knowledgeable and caring service
- Possess analytical skills; exposure to needs analysis and product illustration software
- Disciplined, organized, and self-motivated and able to work efficiently and independently or in a team environment
- Ability to be proactive in addressing policy owner needs and identifying solutions as they arise
- Well versed in TAMRA/TEFRA and other applicable tax laws
- High degree of professionalism and decision making ability
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills important
- Must have knowledge of and ability to maneuver through multiple information screens
- Strong problem solving skills
- Able to adapt to frequent change
