Annuities Retention Specialist coordinates with service representatives and clients to assist with retaining the client's annuity business. Provides knowledge and expertise to clients in order to meet their financial goals and to clearly understand various options that are available with annuities. Being an Annuities Retention Specialist reviews surrender requests and contacts clients to re-engage and identify opportunities for additional sales. Makes recommendations to product line management to improve service and design of products that encourage client retention. Additionally, Annuities Retention Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Annuities Retention Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The primary responsibility of this position is to focus on selling this innovative program to the existing patients of the physician’s practice. This requires meeting with patients to ensure each patient is provided a full understanding of personalized healthcare through stimulating communication in a persuasive style, tailored to their particular needs.
The position is a temporary position lasting approximately 14 - 16 weeks during the launch or transition period of a new MDVIP-affiliated physician. The Patient Advocate works from the transitioning physician’s office based on the physician’s scheduled hours. In addition, the Patient Advocate is needed to attend certain work-related evening or weekend events as scheduled during the launch. A commitment to fulfill the temporary assignment is expected. Total compensation listed for this role is inclusive of a company annual target incentive bonus, employer contributions towards benefits (including $1,500 towards an employee’s Health Savings Account annually), and a generous retirement 401(k) company match. Opportunity for additional compensation may come from overtime and special assignment differential pay.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Meeting daily with scheduled patients to explain and answer questions
• Enrolling patients and providing doctor with daily updates on progress and sales activity
• Serving as a liaison between the doctor’s staff and the corporate office
• Participating in all staff training sessions and scheduled patient events
