Annuities Retention Specialist coordinates with service representatives and clients to assist with retaining the client's annuity business. Provides knowledge and expertise to clients in order to meet their financial goals and to clearly understand various options that are available with annuities. Being an Annuities Retention Specialist reviews surrender requests and contacts clients to re-engage and identify opportunities for additional sales. Makes recommendations to product line management to improve service and design of products that encourage client retention. Additionally, Annuities Retention Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Annuities Retention Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The Document Retention Specialist is responsible with scanning and reviewing documents that have been imaged for retention purposes. They also provide clerical support to the team.
Scanning
Scan both paper and electronic documents. This includes, but is not limited to:
Verification
Verify scanned documents to ensure both their image quality and they were scanned in their entirety. Identify and address errors and notify management of those recurring.
Lockbox Processing
Review and process both daily and quarterly payments. This includes, but is not limited to, a review and scan of each document, logging the transactions and sending return mail.
Clerical Support
Recognize document types that require safeguarding of the physical document.
Utilize system generated reports to determine what payoff files require scanning.
Participate in system workflows to ensure tasks are handled in the most efficient manner.
File loans utilizing a specific numbering system.
Handle loan file requests. This includes, obtaining the file and identifying that the file is “out” for review. In addition, returning the file to its proper location.
Assist with loan payoff retention.
This position will be based out of our Danbury Headquarters office located at 225 Main St. Danbury, CT
The schedule is Monday - Friday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm for a total of 20 hours per week
