Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for the annuities application process. Assists applicants and checks forms for completeness and accuracy. Being an Annuities Representative (New Business) ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Reviews all fund transfers such as tax-free fund transfers, direct transfers and direct rollovers for completeness and compliance. Additionally, Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for responding to inquiries from clients, agents, financial institutions and internal departments. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) license. The Annuities Representative (New Business) works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     As a Senior Business Development Representative at New Eagle, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding the company's market presence in the field of engineering consulting  and embedded software solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with potential clients, and driving sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.

    Location: On-site/Hybrid in Ann Arbor, MI strongly preferred. Exceptionally qualified remote candidates will be considered in OH, IL, CA or PA.
    Travel: 25%
    Compensation: Strong Base OTE/commission plan

    Key Areas of Responsibility

    Business Development
    • Identify and target new business opportunities in the engineering consulting, ECUs, and embedded software sectors.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and prospects.
    • Utilize networking events, industry conferences, and other channels to expand the company's reach and generate new business leads.
    Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries.
    • Understand clients' needs and requirements, and tailor solutions to meet their specific challenges.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized proposals and solutions for clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support.
    Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
    • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches to potential clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
    • Track sales metrics and report on sales performance regularly to senior management.
    Collaboration & Teamwork
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
    • Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field; MEng or MBA is a plus
    • Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the engineering consulting, automotive, or embedded systems industries.
    • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to analyze market data and trends to develop effective sales strategies.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
    • Candidates with experience in selling premium software and applications, such as simulation, multi-physics modeling, control systems, etc. are highly preferred.
