In-Shop Service Representative

Automated Business Solutions has been a leader in the office equipment industry for over 28 years with 7 offices in RI, MA, CT and SC providing Office Equipment Solutions and IT Services. We are currently searching for a self-driven in-shop technician to work out of our Southington, Ct office to assist in getting equipment out to our client base. No experience is required just a strong work ethic, good mechanical skills, and a willingness to learn new things. This position has the potential to allow room for advancement within ABS. Requirements:

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Excellent time management skills

- Superior communication skills

- Interact with other departments professionally and politely

- Desire to learn and improve

- Basic computer skills are needed to assist with setups and machine issues.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Must have valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

- Set up, test, and repair various types of office equipment

- Assist with delivery and installation of equipment

- Document service and installation activities by entering data and completing reports

- Maintain organized and clean shop area

- Work within a team environment with warehouse, office, technical, and sales professionals
