Annuities Director (New Business) directs the development of new accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals. Reviews applications and contracts and ensures that all transactions comply with state and federal regulations. Being an Annuities Director (New Business) stays abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which affect the activities of the business. Responsible for staffing and training of unit and ensures staff has full knowledge of all current regulations and provides prompt and efficient service to customers. Additionally, Annuities Director (New Business) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management.   • John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) company, is looking for a Director of Sales that will be responsible for leading the Technical Sales Team for Flare Equipment. This position is based in Tulsa, OK.

    This high visibility leadership role will require a candidate with customer focus, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated performance in a leadership role. The Director of Sales will be expected to apply Koch Principle Based Management (PBM) concepts as part of developing their team. The successful candidate will be expected to act independently to cultivate a team culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration, and to develop mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.


    What You Will Do In Your Role

    • The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing team capabilities while growing product line profitability.
    • Responsible for managing the Technical Sales Team for Flare Equipment as they support customers across a broad range of industries.
    • Overseeing team members that are expected to work with engineering and estimating to design the appropriate equipment, estimate the costs, and set the sales prices. This includes many different types of customer interactions and support requests over the phone, via email, and face to face.
    • Working directly with customers, which includes large EPC firms and operating industrial facilities.
    • Identify area for improvement that transform the business.

    Requirements (Basic Qualifications):

    • Experience improving leadership capabilities among supervisors
    • Experience developing a sales team with profitable growth
    • Experience developing sales strategies
    • Experience with resource optimization based on capability
    • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
    • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally, with potential extended stays in remote locations

    • Experience in international sales, sourcing, or project management
    • Experience using SalesForce
    • A technical background in the combustion industry
    • A background in flare technology
    • Demonstrated success in a matrixed organization
