Annuities Director (New Business) directs the development of new accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals. Reviews applications and contracts and ensures that all transactions comply with state and federal regulations. Being an Annuities Director (New Business) stays abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which affect the activities of the business. Responsible for staffing and training of unit and ensures staff has full knowledge of all current regulations and provides prompt and efficient service to customers.     Join our high-performing, growing construction and property team with a record 1.8M in fees, multiple members billing over $400k last year, and multiple promotions. Our team is comprised of top-producing Hays Recruitment professionals with proven success within the Florida construction staffing industry.

    Your new role:

    • Develop new business relationships and maintain your network of client companies through business development calls, client visits, networking and entertainment events.
    • Apply a relationship-based sales approach to build and maintain a successful book of business.
    • Source, recruit, interview, evaluate and place highly skilled professionals to match client requirements for contract, contract to hire or permanent opportunities.
    • Build a network of active and passive professionals through creative sourcing, referrals and networking events.
    • Foster long-term relationships with candidates and candidates through ongoing contact. 
    • Follow up with pipeline and placed candidates to grow your professional network within your market.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities with Learning & Development.
    • Actively showcase and live HAYS values/vision/standards and expectations for high performance.

     

    What we're looking for: 

    • Drive superior net fee performance; strives for competitive account share in all active clients.
    • Actively seeks new revenue and business opportunities across the construction industry.
    • Relentless pursuit of target clients and leads.
    • Ensures operational rigor and activity standards are role modelled consistently, including business development (calls, in person meetings, utilizing all communication channels including Engage, social media to promote own desk and Hays brand).
    • Takes the main strategic aim and then analyses the relevant information in order to translate it into goals and outcomes.
    • Demonstrate a “service delivery” mentality to ensure key activity standards and desk fundamentals are in place; guides managers to identify incremental improvement.
    • Actively manages existing client relationships and proactively seeks to broaden these to include all subsidiaries, divisions, and business units across all relevant Hays disciplines.
    • Proactively aware of current market trends, competitive landscape, industry information and best practices; share knowledge and information appropriately; target high potential geographies, industry sectors and new sectors.
    • Inspires confidence, trust and commitment in colleagues, clients and candidates.
    • Displays contagious energy and passion that infects others and inspires them towards their goals.
    • Inspires high performing teams where individuals trust one another, demonstrate a commitment to excellence and are willing to make personal sacrifices and actively provide support, encouragement and provide feedback to others.

    What you will get: 

    • We offer base compensation of $67,500 plus a draw of $26,000, plus a high percentage, uncapped commission plan from 15-50%. 
    • Hybrid/flexible schedule.
