    The Director of Vocational Programs position is responsible for developing and implementing vocational programs designed to provide our clients with life skills, marketable job training and community engaging opportunities. Provides leadership in our core values by consistently delivering a high quality of professionalism, developing bold initiatives and exceptional customer service to clients and employees and ensuring our services are always client focused. This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the A New Leaf, Inc.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the overall delivery and execution of A New Leaf, Inc.’s Vocational Division, ensuring all vocational program services provided are focused on the specific needs of the individuals served.
    • Develops and monitors the annual Vocational Division budget to include all vocational program revenues and expenses.
    • Develops and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the vocational division with the strategic goals of the company. Formulates and recommends policies and objectives for the company with regard to vocational client needs.
    • Responsible for the recruitment, vetting, and onboarding of all new vocational clients, ensuring compliance with all local and national requirements.
    • Develops ways to attract new clients to our vocational and Autism Works programs through collaboration with state case managers, schools, other agency providers, and the community-at-large.
    • Reviews and approves all program development to ensure it fits the needs of the clients served and the mission of A New Leaf, Inc.
    • Supervises and works in conjunction with all vocational Program Coordinators and Job Coaches, ensuring client plans are implemented and followed, IP Meetings are attended, monthly and quarterly reporting is turned in on time, and any transitional needs are met for the clients served.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, Child and Family Services or similar related degree.
    • Preferred five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
    • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and expressed desire to work with personal with development disabilities.

    • Positive attitude toward working with diverse population.
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft programs; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher.
    • Final hiring pending on OSBI background check, clean driving record, Community Services Registry check and pre-employment screening.
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and up-to-date vehicle insurance.
    • Must have Business Acumen; Management experience; Strategic Thinking; Problem solving/analysis; Financial Management; Customer/Client focus
