Elder High School, an all-boys Catholic High School is seeking an Annual Fund Director. This position is a year-round, full-time position.
The Annual Fund Director will focus on building a year-round fundraising plan for the Annual Fund, the foundation of Elder High School’s fundraising initiatives. The Director will identify, cultivate, and steward meaningful relationships with established and potential donors, seeking and securing gifts for the Annual Fund. The Director will make personal visits and occasionally have to work evening and/or weekend meetings or events. The overall goal of the Annual Fund Program is to raise funds for tuition assistance.
Elder Alumnus preferred but not required. Bachelor’s Degree required, with a minimum of three (3) years of development experience in a development-related role, preferably in an educational environment, including annual campaigns, progressive fundraising, marketing, or related experience. Knowledge of development principles and public relations. Strong knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising software applications. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be motivated and a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
