POSITION SUMMARY
Under the administrative direction of the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Director of the
Annual Fund identifies, cultivates, and acquires appropriate annual fund donors and prospects.
This individual manages a matrix of solicitation and communication strategies all focused on
shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support. Responsibilities include expanding the donor
base, increasing awareness of giving opportunities, matching gift programs, and executing best-
in-class stewardship strategies. The incumbent is responsible for organizing and coordinating
the annual Get Connected and other donor events. The Director of the Annual Fund supervises
a team comprised of the Digital Media Coordinator, Development Associate, and
Communications Associate. This team will increase as the organization grows.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fund Development:

COMPENSATION
Literacy Connects offers a competitive salary ($50,000 - $60,000) based on education,
experience, ASU Lodestar Non-Profit Salary Guidelines, and a competitive benefits package.
Hours: Literacy Connects is open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend
and evening hours will be required with notice. Some remote work is available.
